this sequence of movements varies somewhat from person <strong>to</strong> person (see also, for<br />

example, Figure 3.11(a)), with the shoes worn, the surface inclination, the walking<br />

speed, and between overground and treadmill walking. The movement pattern for a<br />

child walking (Figure 1.12) is very different from that of an adult.<br />
