Sitting1. Back up to the chair until you feel it with the backs of your knees.2. Reach back for the armrests and lower yourself slowly.3. To stand, scoot forward in the chair. Push yourself up using the armrests. Reach back for the edge of the toilet seat or safety rails and slowly lower yourself.3. To stand up, push up from the seat or safety rails using your arms.4.
