Registration forcontinuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but full class fee is required. BRPRE-KARATE (4-7 Years) Young children will develop agility, strength and coordination skills through fun and creative activities. This program,specifically designed to work with growing minds and bodies, enhances memory and agility skills, too. Watch your child blossomwhile learning karate and having a blast at the same time!YOUTH KARATE (8-14 Years) Karate skills put children in touch with their bodies and helps to build coordination, agility, strength andpoise, as well as establishes lasting personal safety skills. The mental aspect of karate is equal to if not greater than the physical. Practicingthis art results in increased self-esteem, in addition to enhancing discipline and control.ADULT KARATE (15 Years & Older) Release tension and develop total body fitness! We are anticipating that construction fences will be removedand the playground re-opened by May 1. The wait will be worth it as the newcustom play elements are “begging” to be played on. The splash pad elements of therenovation will open at the special event scheduled for May 30th (see page 2). Afterthe opening, the splash pad will be available for public usage during regular park hoursuntil September 2, 2013.Construction was completed and occupancy obtained in February, 2013. Two new programming rooms, a new storagearea, and renovated small program room have been fully operational since that time. All residents are invited to stop byand tour this beautiful addition to our community center.
