Classes are taught by Illinois ShotokanKarate Club’s expert instructors under the direction of John DiPasquale, four-time National Champion,U.S. Karate National Coach and President of the National Karate Federation of the U.S. Beginner studentswill not be permitted to register into the current session after the second class has met. Registration forcontinuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but full class fee is required. BRPRE-KARATE (4-7 Years) Young children will develop agility, strength and coordination skills through fun and creative activities. This program,specifically designed to work with growing minds and bodies, enhances memory and agility skills, too. Watch your child blossomwhile learning karate and having a blast at the same time!YOUTH KARATE (8-14 Years) Karate skills put children in touch with their bodies and helps to build coordination, agility, strength andpoise, as well as establishes lasting personal safety skills. The mental aspect of karate is equal to if not greater than the physical. Practicingthis art results in increased self-esteem, in addition to enhancing discipline and control.ADULT KARATE (15 Years & Older) Release tension and develop total body fitness! In addition to self-defense skills, karate develops flexibilityand muscle tone, all while improving core strength.
