Classes are under the direction of Grand Master Ki Hong Kim* (8th Dan World TaeKwon Do Federation.) A $45.00 uniform fee is required at the first class. www.brparks.org252013FLAG FOOTBALLLEAGUES Ages 7-14Burr Ridge Park District announces the opening of 2013 BRFL registration. All divisions offer all participants the chance toplay football in a safe and fun atmosphere. All players will receive a team jersey, a flag belt, mid-season giveaway raffles,and the awards show at the end of the season. Instruction will be provided for skills, rules, and good sportsmanship. Gamesand practices will be held at Harvester Park. Palisades Park serves as the back-up location for make-up dates.GENERAL INFORMATIONAll players will practice together for the first three days and then be split intoteams for scrimmage sessions on the fourth and fifth days of practice. Onceteams are finalized, an 8-10 game regular season schedule for each divisionwill be played. The season will complete with a single elimination tournamentculminating in the annual Bowl-Cup Championship Series (the BCCS). The10th Annual All-Star Game, and Skills Competition will be held midwaythrough the season. Park Staff will coach and officiate games. Game timeswill vary according to day. The Hawk Division is the newest additionto the BRFL. The Hawk Division develops basic skills and fundamentalsand basic game strategy. Players are divided into 4 teams after preseason practiceand 2 scrimmage games. Coaching staff plays the quarterback position.Falcon: Ages 9-11Code: FB1-1There will be 6-8 teams in this division. Players rotate at all positions, accordingto league rules throughout each game. Players may tryout for quarterbackwith 2 players per team selected as quarterback. Quarterbacks will have extrapractices assigned for skill development.Eagle: Ages 12-14Code: FB1-2There will be a limit of 4-6 teams in this division. The goal of the Eagle Divisionis to challenge the ability of all players in a more competitive environment whilemaintaining all the fun which has made the BRFL popular. The Eagle Divisionfeatures longer games, offensive backfield motion and blitzing. Eight playerscaptains will be selected by the coaching staff.
