Level I emphasis: throwing, catching, hitting off of a tee, running the bases, and defensive positions. The program includes hats and shirts for 3A, 3B, 4A, and 5A players, helmets, catcher’s gear, baseball, umpires,website access, a hot dog BBQ day and weekly league updates (unless otherwise noted below). Games begin the week ofAugust 19. No games will be played August 31 through September 2.Team InformationPlayer’s ages are determined on May 1, 2013Download a roster from www.brfallball.com and submit to Mark Pasqualini at BRPD by July 19, 2013. Each team musthave minimum of 10 eligible players on their roster. Division determination is approved by the league coordinator once acomplete roster is submitted with a $100 non-refundable deposit. Volunteer coaches for all leagues are needed. BR, WB7-8 year olds - Level 3A: Rookie LeaguePlayers playing “kid-pitch” for the first time or with minimal experience.Modified rules including no walks, pitching limitations, andscoring limitations. Games are Sunday and Wednesday.7-8 year olds - Level 3B: Team RegistrationModified rules including no walks, pitching limitations, and scoringlimitations. Games are Sunday and Monday.9-10 year olds - Level 4A: Recreation TeamsTeams with 4 or more all-star or travel players CANNOT play in thisdivision. Modified rules including pitching limitations, and scoringlimitations. Games are Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.9-10 year olds - Level 4B: Competitive LeagueOpen to All-Star and Travel teams. Modified rules include pitchinglimitations and scoring limitations. Must provide own team uniforms oradd $25 per player and provide a team name at the time a roster is submitted.Games are Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.11-12 year olds - Level 5A: Recreation TeamsGames played on Middle Field using seventy-foot bases, lead-offs,fifty-foot pitcher’s mound, pick-offs, two umpires, & other rule modifications.Games are Sunday, Tuesday Wednesday, & Thursday.11-12 year olds - Level 5B: Competitive LeagueOpen to All-star & Travel teams. Games played on Middle Fieldusing seventy-foot bases, lead-offs, 50’ pitcher’s mound, pick-offs,and other rule modifications. Must provide own team uniform oradd $25 per player and provide a team name at the time roster issubmitted. Games are Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.13-14 year olds - Level 6: Team RegistrationThis division is for players getting ready for high school baseball.6-8 games following IHSA Rules, except for pitching limitations.
