Dear Trainees,<strong>AGES</strong> would like to invite you to the fifth TraineeWorkshop and the second to be held in Sydney. Thisworkshop is run in conjunction with RANZCOG. As youare aware the College has an expectation that alltrainees on completion of their six years should beable to perform a laparoscopic ovariancystectomy/oophorectomy as well as being able todeal with an ectopic pregnancy laparoscopically whenthe anatomy is not significantly distorted. <strong>AGES</strong> andthe College have established this programme to helpfacilitate the skill steps that are required to performthese procedures.<strong>AGES</strong> has assembled an extensive faculty. Theprogramme involves both a didactic and skill labscomponent. We will also have an strong suturingcomponent at this workshop.
