Provision of Neutral Grounding Resistor in 1600<br />
KVA transformer<br />
A Neutral Grounding Resistor with earth leakage protection<br />
has been provided in the neutral earthing system of 1600 KVA<br />
Transformer at N C Mines which trips both primary and<br />
secondary breaker of this transformer when leakage current<br />
exceeds 300 MA and provides safety from electrical shock.<br />

The Oriya new year was celebrated on 13.04.2009, the<br />
auspicious day of Maha Vishuva Sankranti at Nuasahi with<br />
delicious “BELAPANA” at Nilakantheswar Temple.<br />
WORLD ENVIORNMENT DAY<br />
World Environment Day” was celebrated on 05.06.2009 at<br />
Nuasahi. A massive plantation program was organised on this<br />

The World Environment Day was observed on 05.06.2009<br />
with a visit of Students and teachers from nearby Schools to<br />
our Herbal garden, Mining and dumping sites. Competitions<br />
on Essay, Quiz and Drawing relating to Environment were<br />
conducted for the students. The winners were: Essay<br />
Competition: 1 st – Miratmika Mahanta, Sreema & 2 nd –<br />
Subasini Dehuri both from Sreema Aurobinda High school,<br />
Anal & 3 rd – Subhasmita Sahoo, Kaliapani High school Quiz<br />
Competition: 1 st – Subhasmita Sahoo, Kaliapani High<br />
school and Jiten Soren, Kaliapani High school, 2 nd –<br />
Subasini Dehuri and Miratmika Mahanta both from Sreema<br />
Aurobinda High school, Anal, Special Prize for General<br />

function. Mr. K N Bhoi, Sr. Manager (Mines) delivered the<br />
welcome speech. Prizes were distributed to the winners of<br />
