Basic facts and principles<br />

The successful function of the<br />

selftapping expansion thread<br />

system is based on the sharp<br />

apical threads and a thread<br />

configuration which deepens<br />

increasingly from cervical to<br />

apical. The internal implant<br />

body tapers while the outer<br />

diameter of the cylinder formed<br />

by the thread diameter<br />

remains the same. The apical<br />

cutting notch (bone lock)<br />
