The concept of the Pitt-Easy
cylindrical implant contains
an easy application for minimal-invasive
therapy with
maximum preservation of
bone and optimal initial
retention.
The osseointegrating Pitt-
Easy implant was developed
according to biomechanical
and stress-analytical research
results and improved
in design according to latest
knowledge and patented.
Pitt-Easy with the progressive
expansion thread design is a
unique reliable and rational
implant system.
Pitt-Easy features a proven
implant body design which
achieves long-term success
of 99% (literature: ZZI, Deutscher
Basic facts and principles
The successful function of the
selftapping expansion thread
system is based on the sharp
apical threads and a thread
configuration which deepens
increasingly from cervical to
apical. The internal implant
body tapers while the outer
diameter of the cylinder formed
by the thread diameter
remains the same. The apical
cutting notch (bone lock)
avoids rotation at the same
time. The adjusted instrumentarium
ensures with
increasing insertion depth
the direct bone contact immediately
after insertion also
in between the threads and
provides initial stability which
is essential for complete
osseointegration.
Pitt-Easy – equal in preservation
and esthetics
The Pitt-Easy implant keeps
the promise indicated by its
name: The application is
easy, the insertion preservative
and osseointegration safe
and rapid. Combined with
the large option for prosthetic
restoration this system complies
with any demand.

The indications
The system demonstrates versatility
also in this regard: Suitable
not only for single tooth
replacement and interdental
spaces, but also for free-end
situations and the edentulous
mandible and maxilla, the Pitt-
Easy cylindrical implant is the
optimal solution.
The multiple indications are
also supported by two diffe-
Pitt-Easy implants are in general
two-phase, but they can
also be applied with a onephase
the use of gingiva formers,
thereby avoiding the re-entry
From macro-roughness to
nanotechnology and biomimetics
The nanoscience is concerned
with the preparation of surface
structures in the scope of
nanometers. The importance
of nanostructures for cell attachment
and differentiation
has been documented. We
conclude that due to the similarity
the osteoblasts identify
these nanostructures as collagenous
structures and show
no foreign body rejection. This
surface property is designated
as biomimetic.
The comprehensive studies
and test series in close cooperation
with university
institutes have resulted in the
development of our technology
for nanostructuring. We
have succeeded in creating
the first nanoporous titanium
surface by a purely subtractive
process.
Free of contamination
The name describes the innovation
which Puretex offers.
Puretex derives from tex =
texture which is the surface
topography and from pure for
purity. We have implemented
a new decontamination technology
which creates an implant
surface of utmost purity.
study at the University
of Birmingham/UK document
distributed nanostructures.
The Department and Policlinic
Guided by the color
The color guide system
The diameter-coded color
guide system offers safety
all around. It identifies the
implant packings and caps,
drills and instruments for the
surgical insertion technique
as well as the prosthetic
components. This color coding
facilitates an exact and
quick access for the dentist,
the assistants and dental
technicians when using the
surgical tray.
Safety and efficiency for implant
surgery – the PITT-EASY
In addition to the large surgical
tray containing the
complete set of simultaneous
drills, an alternative is now
available for the diameters
3.25/3.75/4.00 and 4.90 mm.
The small surgical tray contains
all components required
for a quick and rational insertion.
The ring-shaped cover seal
of silicone and the filter with
quick lock allow a sterility of
the tray up to 6 weeks.
The solid stable housing of
hard anodized aluminum is
sparing space and permits an
optimal final drying.
The surgical tray contains all
instruments which are essential
for an implant insertion,
such as drills, implant keys
and accessories. The inserts
(made of silicone) secure the
drills and instruments within
the tray.
An instruction booklet is
supplied for the assistant
personnel.
