The DRA can be leftunattended without the threat of poisoningfrom combustion by-products associated withfuel fi red heaters. The built in safety featuresinclude an adjustable thermostat to controlthe outlet air temperature, auto-reset cutoutsfor the fan motor and heating elements. Thethermostat provides settings for full off, fanonly and temperature control in the heatingsetting. Dragon heaters feature a large, easilyaccessible control and wiring compartmentcontaining a magnetic contactor; additionalsafety is provided by a 120 volt control voltagetransformer and motor starter on 480 and 600volt units. The bright red polyester powdercoated heating cylinder is highly visible andcan be rotated to direct heat or fan driven airmovement where it is needed. For assuredsafety, all standard units meet the requirementsof UL (File No. E7061) and CSA (FileNo. LR40859).ConstructionHeating CylinderA structural frame consisting of 2 spun steelrings and 2 formed steel channels support a20 gauge steel cylinder phosphate coated forcorrosion resistance, and fi nished in red polyesterpowder coat paint. The heating cylinderpivots vertically to direct air fl ow.34Leg AssemblyEach side consists of a one piece, 12 gauge,formed steel member, which accepts a steeltubular handle, held in place with a 1 1/2"long x 1/4" bolt on each side. The handlecan be raised from the shipping position ifdesired. The rubber, pneumatic wheels are 10"diameter and 3 1/2” wide to provide ease oftransporting the heater on irregular and gravelsurfaces. The large wheels make it easy to rollup stairways without damage to decorativestep surfaces.Fan AssemblyThe self-centering fan assembly consists of atotally enclosed, permanently lubricated motorand a dynamically balanced aluminum fanblade for smooth, quiet operation.Controls(27-11/16)(Handle FullyExtend 34-1/4)(23-7/16)A thermostat, with a temperature range of40°F to 100°F is included, with a full offposition, a fan only position and an adjustablerange of temperature settings in theheating mode position.
