Health & Safetyplus General AdviceGeneral Advice• Guests are advised not to consume alcohol or a heavy meal priorto using the Aqua Sana facilities.• Robes will be provided for you to wear when having treatmentsand in the Spa Area.• Glasses and contact lenses must be removed prior to treatmentsand in the Spa Area.• We recommend that you do not bring any valuables with you.• Lockers are provided, which require a £1.00 coin – returnableafter use.Please be aware of the possible side effects following treatments/Spa experiences which may include drowsiness, excessive thirst andpossible minor reactions to essential oils. We recommend that youenjoy a period of rest and relaxation following our treatments/Spaexperiences and that you drink plenty of clear fluids. In the unlikelyevent that you experience any allergic skin reaction please consultwith the Center Parcs Medical Centre.Spa Sessions Advice14-17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.Please Note: Our Spas operate 2 ladies’ sessions every week.Please check with Aqua Sana prior to your visit.Swimwear AdviceGuests are required to wear swimwear within all areas of the‘World of Spa’. Robes are obligatory at all times within all areas ofthe ‘World of Spa’ except whilst in Spa experiences.Spa Sessions Accessibility AdvicePlease be aware that certain Spa experiences have restricted orno access for those with limited mobility.Many of the experiences involve exposure to above ambienttemperatures and there may be surfaces within them that arehot which may pose a risk to those who cannot sense changes insurface temperature.If you have a disability or any particular care requirements, pleaseseek advice at the time of booking and on entry to Aqua Sana toallow us to help you get the most out of your Session safely.Treatment Advice• Aqua Sana will provide dressing gowns for you to wear withinthe treatment area. We recommend that during treatmentsgentlemen wear swimming trunks or shorts and ladies wear eitherbriefs or swimsuits. Paper briefs are available for use during bodywraps and treatments.• Glasses and contact lenses must be removed during treatments.• You will be advised to remove all jewellery prior to yourtreatment, however we recommend that you leave any valuablesin your accommodation.• Please ensure that you inform your therapist if you are too hot/cold, if your position is not comfortable or the therapist’s pressureis not enjoyable. We will endeavour to adjust or change techniquesto suit you.Spa and TreatmentMedical Conditions/PregnancyCertain medical conditions can be affected by the Spa experiences(particularly those involving extremes of temperature) and mayalso preclude you from having some of the treatments available.If you wish to participate in the Spa experiences or Treatmentsand suffer from any of the following please consult with yourdoctor prior to your arrival and obtain written evidence of yourfitness to participate.• You are currently receiving radiotherapy or chemotherapy for thetreatment of cancer.• You have had surgery within the last three months.• You have had a deep vein thrombosis (DVT).• You suffer from heart or circulatory problems, high or low bloodpressure, epilepsy, diabetes or asthma.• If you suffer from diabetes, epilepsy, migraines, dizziness, orfainting spells.• Any condition affecting your body’s ability to react to heat orto perspire.• Any chest condition likely to be aggravated by high temperatures.• Use any drugs which may affect your circulation or your ability toreact to heat.• You have been prescribed antihistamines, anticoagulants,vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants or tranquillisers.• If you are currently receiving any medical treatment, which youfeel may affect your suitability please consult with Aqua Sanastaff prior to booking.
