the Sr High Winter Youth Retreat on Feb 19-21, 2011, at Camp Maranatha in
New Durham, NH. I understand that every effort will be made to insure
the safety and comfort of my child, and I will discuss the importance of
obeying the rules and regulations with my child. I agree that in event of an
emergency, I will not hold the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston, any
of its leaders, youth staff, or Camp Maranatha responsible or liable. In
event that medical treatment is required, every effort will be made to
contact me. I give permission to the youth staff to secure medical assistance
and/or treatment deemed necessary, and all expenses for such care is solely
the responsibility of the individual child’s family.

SCHOLARSHIPS (partial or full) are made available this year for
any family facing financial hardships, especially those who are
between jobs. Interested parents or teens should speak with
Pastor Sandy in person or via email. Confidentiality will be
respected. Scholarships are awarded based on greatest need and
availability. In order to qualify for a scholarship, you must register
early and request for scholarship by Jan 15 th .
What to bring:
• Bible, pens REMEMBER TO
• Warm sleeping bag or blankets LABEL ALL YOUR
• Bed linens STUFF!!!
• Pillow with case
• WARM casual clothes (jeans, fleece, extra socks…)
• WARM sleepwear (hint: dress in layers)
• Snow boots (wear them) and ski pants (for sledding) if snow
play or extreme cold weather are anticipated
• Sneakers
• Gloves & hat
• Towels
• Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, shampoo…)
• Watch or alarm clock
• Flashlight
• Prescription medicine ( especially asthma inhalers, epipen)
• Optional: camera, ice skates, snacks, furry friend, cards, cell
phone (must be turned off during camp, only call home)
What NOT to bring:
• Electronics (gameboy, CD walkman, PDA, MP3, TVs, DVD
players, laptops, i-pods) – if you bring them, they may only
be used on bus ride and will be confiscated for the duration
of camp
• Illegal substances, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, fire/explosives
