AC Valkanela- Rules and RegulationsCampingValkanela12345678910RECEPTION OFFICE: Opening hours 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. To enter AC Valkanela every guestmust call in at the reception office/main gate to check in and show a personal identificationdocument. Upon checking in, the guest receives a pass that must be shown to enter orleave the Campsite. A fee of HRK 1,000 will be collected from unregistered guests found inthe camping area as they are endangering the safety of others and breaching site rules andregulations. Discount vouchers (Camping Card International, Camping Card Scandinavia, etc.)must be redeemed when checking in or they will not be accepted. People with disabilitieswho are exempt from the tourist tax shall provide a valid exemption certificate when checkingin. Documents may not be accepted if not presented when checking in.PITCH SELECTION: Guests may select a camping pitch freely, except for allotted ones markedby a number, which are assigned at the reception office. Upon selecting a pitch, the guestis obligated to collect the number and display it in a visible spot on the vehicle or tent. For avehicle/tent without a visible sign (at least 2 hours upon checking in) guest will be chargeda fee for a 24-hour stay in the Superior zone. Please stay off the neighbouring pitches andconnect your vehicles or tents to one electrical outlet only. In the area where guests areallowed to select a pitch freely, one vehicle is allowed to occupy 100 square meters maximum.The distance between vehicles/tents must be at least 2.30 m.QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 12 midnight to 6 a.m. daily. Guests are asked to berespectful of others, especially during quiet hours when motor vehicles may not enter or exitthe site and TV, radio and other noisy appliances may not be used. Adults are responsiblefor their children’s behaviour, especially during quiet hours. Children must be supervisedespecially when using sanitary facilities and appliances. All visitors are forbidden from cuttingor damaging trees and shrubbery. Guests will be charged for any damage to our propertyaccording to applicable price list. All traffic rules and signs shall be strictly observed. Themaximum speed limit is 20 km/h.HYGIENE: Guests are allowed to dispose of garbage in garbage containers only. Beforechecking out, make sure that the pitch is in the same condition as it was found (clean andfree from garbage, rocks and other material). Otherwise a charge according to the applicableprice list will apply.PETS: Each pet must be registered during check-in. Pets have to be supervised by theirowners at all times and kept on a leash. Pet owners are obligated to clean up after their petsand use dog waste bins. Beach showers may not be used for showering dogs. Dog showersare marked on the Campsite map. Dogs are allowed to swim only at specially marked beachareas. Failure to abide by these rules will result in a fee being charged according to theapplicable price list.MAIL arrives daily around 1 p.m., except on Sundays, and may be collected at the reception.Telegrams and faxed documents are delivered only in case of emergency. If you have founda lost item you are obligated to hand it over to the receptionist.VISITORS may enter the Campsite area only on foot. Cars may be parked near the gate. Forstays exceeding 1 hour a day pass will be charged. These rules and regulations apply to all visitors.BOATS & SEA ACTIVITIES: Boat owners must register their boats with the Port Authority.A special permit is required for scuba diving. Boat engines may be started 200 m from theshore. Water skiing and boat riding in the swimming area is forbidden. We accept no liabilityfor boats left in the sea.DEPARTURE: On the day of departure guests have to leave their accommodations by 12 noonat the latest or an extra day charge applies. Your bill can be made on the day of departure butwe recommend that you request it a day earlier so as to avoid waiting. The payment office isopen 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Guests have to show their payment receipts at thegate when leaving the Campsite.THE FOLLOWING IS PROHIBITED WITHIN THE CAMPSITE: open fires, explosives andflammables, parking on the road outside the designated parking spots, washing laundryin the area for washing dishes, anchoring boats on the beach, washing vehicles and boatsoutside specially marked areas, disturbing the peace and quiet and taking photographs ormaking video recordings (except of the people you know who have consented to beingphotographed or filmed).Guests are not allowed to make any modifications by building concrete structures, brick walls,installing kitchen elements or erecting a sunshade above their caravans. Planting any kind ofseedling is forbidden.This set of house rules has been created in order to make every guest’s stay as safe and pleasant aspossible. While staying with us all guests are bound by these rules and failure to comply with any of themmay result in the immediate termination of stay and access to campsite amenities and services. Beforeleaving you will be charged for accommodation and damage to campsite property, if any.
