He is also a three-time MVC scholarathleteselection, received ESPN the Magazine all-district academichonors three times, and was named a United <strong>State</strong>s Track & Fieldand <strong>Cross</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) AcademicAll-American in 2008 and USTFCCCA All-District V Academic FirstTeeam selection in 2010. He also received the 2010 MVC Dr.Charlotte West Scholar-Athlete Award and the 2010 MVC EmersonExcellence Award. A three-time team captain and two-timeteam MVP, he twice earned the <strong>Indiana</strong> <strong>State</strong> cross country teamLeadership Award while helping <strong>Indiana</strong> <strong>State</strong> to two MVC crosscountry titles in his four years. The senior is a three-time memberof both the MVC <strong>Cross</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Scholar-Athlete team and the MVCTrack & Field Scholar-Athlete team.
