The Indiana State graduatewas ranked fourth in the world in cross country in 1969 and competedon five United States Cross Country teams at International Championships.She was ranked in the top 10 in cross country nationals for 10consecutive years and set American records (which she held for twoyears) in the women’s marathon in1971. Treworgy earne dher bachelor’sdegree in physical education from ISU in 1969 and a master’sdegree in physical education from California Polytechnic State in 1972.She was inducted into the Indiana State University Athletics’ Hall ofFame in 2004.
