West Acre Gardens
At the heart of King’s Lynn town centre and the
railway station, this recently restored 18thcentury
park has something for everyone.
Beautiful landscaping, children’s play facilities,
cafe, historic buildings such as the Red Mount
Chapel, and impressive tree-lined avenues.
Open: daily. Red Mount Chapel: Wed, Sat, Sun
over summer months.

A plant lover's paradise, set in an old walled
garden. Extensive display gardens and a sales
area packed with choice plants. We grow a
huge range of herbaceous plants, shrubs,
alpines, bamboos, ferns and climbers. Many
are unusual or rare. Tumbleyhill Road, West
Acre, King’s Lynn PE32 1UJ. Admission Free.

WWT Welney Wetland Centre
Get closer to nature and sample the tranquillity
of 1000 acres of internationally important
wetland. Encounter thousands of wintering
wildfowl along with migratory swans at our
daily swan feeds. In summer discover breeding
birds, dragonflies and wildflowers or explore
with family pond-dipping and trails.

Coasthopper
The Coasthopper bus service is a really great way to explore
the Norfolk coast. You can use it to travel between King’s
Lynn, Hunstanton, Wells, Sheringham and Cromer. The
combination of the Norfolk Coast Path and the
Coasthopper bus, offers excellent opportunities to leave the
car behind and discover this beautiful part of our coastline.
Most services from King’s Lynn to Hunstanton are
timetabled to connect with First Capital Connect rail services
with through ticketing available.

There are a host of cycle routes in West Norfolk including the
Sustrans National Cycle Route 1 (Hull to Harwich) and
National Route 11 which connects King’s Lynn with
