HX8346-A(T)240RGB x 320 dot, 262K color, TFT Mobile Single Chip Driver5.2 Address Counter(AC)DATA SHEET V01The HX8346-A contains an address counter (AC) which assigns address forwriting/reading pixel data to/from GRAM. The address pointers set the position ofGRAM whose addresses range are: X=0~239d and Y=0~319dEvery time when a pixel data is written into the GRAM, the X address or Y address ofAC will be automatically increased by 1 (or decreased by 1), which is decided by theregister (MV, MX and MY bit) setting. To simplify the address control of GRAM access, the window address function allowsfor writing data only to a window area of GRAM specified by registers. After databeing written to the GRAM, the AC will be increased or decreased within settingwindow address-range which is specified by the horizontal address register (start: SC,end: EC) or the vertical address register (start: SP, end: EP). Therefore, the data canbe written consecutively without thinking a data wrap by those bit function.5.2.1 MCU to memory write/read directionBData stream from MCU is likethis figureEFigure 5. 22 MCU to memory write/read directionHimax ConfidentialThis information contained herein is the exclusive property of Himax and shall not be distributed, reproduced, or disclosedin whole or in part without prior written permission of Himax.-P.51-July, 2007
