Meet local master photographer Paul Owen at this workshop.
Paul will share tips on how to shoot good candid photos and
portraits as well as how best to capture nature shots. Digital cameras
will be available for use or bring your own. Open to the public.
Paul has been photographing for 25 years and has received many awards for his work.
He is on the board of directors for Wisconsin Professional Photographers of America.

SELF-TAUGHT & OUTSIDER ART:
THE ANTHONY PETULLO COLLECTION
T his exhibit celebrates a gift to the
Milwaukee Art Museum of more than
300 works from Anthony Petullo, and is one
of the premier collections of its kind in the
country. The distinguishing characteristic of
the collection is the strong emphasis on the
work of self-taught and outsider American
and European artists. Self-taught artists
often have little or no professional training
in the technique of art historical traditions.
Their creations are spontaneous, unstudied
and grounded in reality. Petullo, a retired
Milwaukee businessman, built his collection
over a period of 30 years. See the collection
and other exhibits during a day trip to
the Milwaukee Art Museum, with lunch
at Coast Restaurant. Day trip is only
available to residents.
