TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDER GENERAL RULESSECTION A2) When rate qualifiers are based on distance (e.g. PM), and the mileage through thestop-off point(s) exceeds the direct mileage from origin to destination, the line-haulcharges will be based on applicable mileage from point of origin via the stop-offpoint(s) to final destination.3) When rate qualifiers are based on both (i) weight, volume or other measurementunit, and (ii) distance (e.g. PJ, PY, PQ, PZ), the line-haul charges will be based onthe actual or minimum weight, volume or other measurement unit (whichever isgreater), and the applicable mileage from point of origin via the stop-off point(s) tofinal destination.4) When line-haul charges are determined under any of the following:a) Paragraph 2.a.1 aboveb) Rate Qualifiers DL, PL or PV in Section D of the DoD tenderc) Rate Qualifier DL in Table B of Section E of the DoD tender and theapplicable mileage from point of origin via the stop-off point(s) exceeds thedirect applicable mileage from origin to destination, all excess mileage willbe subject to an added charge of SOC(1) $_______ per mile.b. Charges. The charge for stop-off service will be SOC(1) $_______ for each stop,excluding the initial pickup and final delivery.H. Reconsignment or Diversion (RCC)1. Reconsignment or Diversion service will be provided by the TSP subject to the following:a. Reconsignment and Diversion are considered similar terms, and the use of either term willmean:1) Change in the place of delivery within the original destination;2) Change in the original destination; or3) Any other change in delivery, which requires an additional movement of theshipment.b.
