TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDER GENERAL RULESSECTION AMinimum Charges: 0 8 0 Percent―Freight All Kinds (FAK)‖ field: Fill in the three fields on this line with thepercentage above, below, or equal to the level of Class 100 baseline rates,shown in Paragraph of this section, that the TSP selects to base its FAK rateson. For example, if the TSP decides to charge 125 percent of the Class 100baseline rates, these fields would be completed as follows:Freight All Kinds (FAK): 1 2 5 Percent of Class 100 Rates.If the TSP decides to charge 50 percent of the Class 100 baseline rates, the fieldwould be completed as follows:Freight All Kinds (FAK): 0 5 0 Percent of Class 100 Rates.NOTE: Only whole percentages may be shown in Table D, and all positions ofeach field used must be completed. Class 100 Rates Explanation. The Class 100 baseline rates and minimum charges have beenconstructed by SDDC. It is suggested the TSP filing tenders based on Rate Qualifier ―PQ‖construct individual tenders according to the territorial applications of the various motor ratebureaus. Filing in this manner will permit the TSP to protect appropriate LTL and TL classrate levels in various bureau territories.6. Rating Multiple Shipments. All shipments tendered to one TSP on one calendar day by oneconsignor consigned to the same consignee at the same delivery site will be considered asone shipment for rating purposes. To receive the benefit of reduced charges applicable tomultiple shipments, shipper shall cross-reference the bills of lading of individuals shipmentsto a single bill of lading, or further identify all multiple shipments tendered to the same TSPon one calendar day which are consigned to the same consignee at the same delivery site.7. Less-Than-Truckload Rates. Reference to ―less than 10,000 pounds‖ and ―10,000 pounds orgreater‖ in the tender is to identify shipment routing authority designated to the InstallationTransportation Officer (ITO), and SDDC respectively.
