AIR TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDER RULESSECTION FNOTE: Transit time for TSP-provided services shown below start on the consignor’s requestedpickup date and time IAW the operating hours contained in the TransportationFacilities Guide (TFG). When the consignor requests pickup and/or delivery onSaturday, Sunday, holidays, and/or before or after an installation’s normal operatinghours as indicated in the TFG, refer to section B, Item 55, for appropriateaccessorial-service charges.The TSP must select the level of service to be used in the Standard Tender (Sections G, H, and I)as follows:a. Priority Service (SG) Next available flight; shipment may be required anytime during a 24-hour period, no specific time for pickup or delivery stated (consignor may insert timerequirements on BL in accordance with the TSP quote).b. Overnight Service (D1): Shipment to be delivered to consignee during consignee’s normaloperating hours, as listed in the TFG, on the next business day following the consignorsrequested pickup date of shipment.c. Second Day Service (D2): Shipment to be delivered to consignee during consignee’snormal operating hours, as listed in the TFG, on or before the second business day afterconsignor requested pickup date of shipment.d. Deferred Service (D3): Shipment to be delivered to consignee during consignee’s normaloperating hours, as listed in the TFG, on or before the fifth business day after consignorrequested pickup date of shipment.2. When the consignor requests Overnight (D1) service with a before–12:00 p.m. delivery, theTSP is entitled to a charge of DEL(1)$______ per hundred pounds (CWT) subject to a minimumcharge of DEL(2) $_______3. TSPs must provide the consignor with the service type offered/requested noted below:a. Airport-to-Airport Service (AA) - Origin city airport to destination city airport.b. Door-to-Door Service (DD) - Shipper’s origin to consignee’s receiving point.4. The consignor must annotate on the BL clearly and specifically a request for Priority,Overnight, Second Day Service, or Deferred Service. Where level of service is not requested, theTSP will bill for the lowest published charge in its tender. In no case will the TSP bill for ahigher level of service than actually provided.
