WATER TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDER RULESSECTION DAdditional Propulsor-related security requirements are specified in OPNAVINST S5513.5B,DON Security Classification Guidance for Undersea Warfare Programs and OPNAVINSTS5513.3B DON Security Classification Guidance for Surface Warfare Programs.2. If cargo is unable to be packaged and any part is classified, it will be tarped to prevent itsidentification. Tarps must be fire and water-resistant.3. For the surface portion of a water shipment, if cargo is locked and sealed and the classifiednature of the material is hidden so that the driver/tug master/water TSP master does not haveaccess except by breaking of a seal, than the shipment is permitted to be transported go viaCIS or DDP (if the distance is over 150 miles).4. Shipments may require an escort if specifically requested by shipper/consignee, or in certaincircumstances due to the classification of the item.
