CONSTITUTIONof theBalkanStomatological SocietyArticle 1 : TITLEThe name of the organization is the "Balkan Stomatological Society"Article 2 : LEGAL STATUSThe Society was founded in Thessaloniki, Greece, where it is registered. TheSociety shall be a scientific, professional, non-ρο1ιtιca1 and non-governmentalorganization for public benefit.Article 3: ΤΗΕ AIMS OF ΤΗΕ SOCIETYThe aims of the Society shall be 1) to organize regular congresses in order to giveopportunity to Balkan dentists to exchange knowledge and experience in theirscientific and professional fields 2) to promote Dentistry between Balkan dentistsin theory and practice 3) to promote friendship and collaboration betweendentists in this region 4) to attempt to establish uniform training requirementsfor this science and to coordinate students exchange 5) to publish scientific andprofessional information to its members in a suitable journal.Article 4: MEMBERSHIP4.1. Active Members may only be persons with a dental degree residing andpracticing in the Balkan countries.4.2. Associate Members shall be medical or dental practιcioners independentlyof their residence, who wish to support the idea of Balkan cooperation and toparticipate in the scientific meetings of the Society.4.3. Supporting Members shall be National and Local ProfessionalAssociations or Scientific Societies, who wish to encourage and support theSociety.1
