Each studentmust complete the assignment and turn it in on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, the first day of school.Assignments can be typed on the template in the download or neatly handwritten. This is a wonderfulopportunity for your family to experience another culture while sharing our United States culturewith a young teen from another county, <strong>The</strong> students are enrolled at the <strong>Academy</strong> for one yearwith tuition, insurance and personal expenses being covered by the student. ;holly’s rOAd to educationLorem Ipsum Dolor Spring 2016On Saturday, April 21 st , many courageous souls once again braved the elements outside to participatein the holly’s rOAd to education 5K Walk/Run. We’re hoping that next year, the coined phrase,“Third time’s a charm” will ring true…the sun will shine upon us and it will be warm. Despite thebreezy, chilly day, our event, held in honor of Holly Bruns to help fund the Holly Bruns MemorialScholarship at <strong>Oldenburg</strong> <strong>Academy</strong>, was a SMASHING success! <strong>The</strong> gross revenue for this year’sevent was over $6,500! Outstanding!!! We would not have achieved this success without thegenerosity of our event sponsors, all of the companies & individuals who donated cash, product andprizes and the support of our volunteers. We can’t thank Sarah Lamping enough for the manyhours she volunteered, after hours, to support our efforts. OA has a gem in Sarah. Special thanks toSusan Glaser ’80 for recruiting/organizing the volunteers! Thanks to the OA students whorallied the day of the event to assist us.
