The <strong>DDD</strong>s are mainly based on use in children.<br />

A07D ANTIPROPULSIVES<br />

A07DA Antipropulsives<br />

This group comprises agents which reduce gastrointestinal motility, e.g.<br />

diphenoxylate <strong>and</strong> loperamide. Loperamide <strong>and</strong> loperamide oxide are<br />

classified at the two separate 5th levels.<br />

A07DA01 - diphenoxylate - includes combinations with atropine<br />

A07DA02 - opium - includes also combinations with belladonna <strong>and</strong>/or<br />

bismuth subgallate, albumin etc.<br />

Combinations with antiflatulents are classified here.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are based on treatment of acute diarrhea.<br />

A07E INTESTINAL ANTIINFLAMMATORY AGENTS<br />

A07EA Corticosteroids acting locally<br />

Enemas <strong>and</strong> rectal foams <strong>for</strong> treatment of e.g. ulcerative colitis are<br />

classified here. Oral budesonide <strong>for</strong> treatment of morbus Crohn is also<br />

classified here.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are given as 1 enema. The <strong>DDD</strong> <strong>for</strong> hydrocortisone<br />

rectal foam is given in amount of active substance.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong> <strong>for</strong> oral budesonide is based on the treatment of morbus<br />

Crohn.
