V VARIOUS<br />

This group comprises many different types of drugs, <strong>and</strong> assigning<br />

<strong>DDD</strong>s are difficult. Very few <strong>DDD</strong>s are assigned in this group.<br />

V01 ALLERGENS<br />

V01A ALLERGENS<br />

V01AA Allergen extracts<br />

This group comprises preparations mainly used in hyposensitisation.<br />

Preparations <strong>for</strong> diagnostic use, e.g. prick <strong>and</strong> scratch tests, are classified<br />

in V04CL.<br />

This group is divided according to type of allergen, e.g. grass pollen,<br />

tree pollen, fungi etc. Artemisia vulgaris allergens are classified in<br />

V01AA10 - flowers.<br />

Oral <strong>and</strong> parenteral pharmaceutical <strong>for</strong>ms are classified in the same <strong>ATC</strong><br />

5th level.<br />

V03AB Antidotes<br />

Sugammadex indicated <strong>for</strong> reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced<br />

by rocuronium or vecuronium is classified here.<br />

Hydroxocobalamine is also classified in B03BA.<br />

Medicinal charcoal is classified in A07BA.<br />

Atropine is classified in A03BA.<br />

Penicillamine, which is also used in copper poisoning, is classified in<br />

M01CC.<br />
