H02A CORTICOSTEROIDS FOR SYSTEMIC USE, PLAIN<br />

Only plain preparations are classified in this group. The group also<br />

includes corticosteroid preparations <strong>for</strong> local injection.<br />

H02AA Mineralocorticoids<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are based on substitution therapy in Addison's disease.<br />

H02AB Glucocorticoids<br />

Oral <strong>for</strong>mulations used solely in local treatment are classified in A07EA.<br />

Depot preparations may have different <strong>DDD</strong>s, compared to other<br />

<strong>for</strong>mulations, due to different indications.<br />

H02B CORTICOSTEROIDS FOR SYSTEMIC USE, COMBINATIONS<br />

This group comprises all combined preparations, e.g. combinations with<br />

local anesthetics.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong> of trilostan is based on the treatment of Cushing's<br />

syndrome.<br />
