Analgesics used in dysmenorrhea, see N02B - Other analgesics <strong>and</strong><br />

antipyretics <strong>and</strong> M01A - Antiinflammatory <strong>and</strong> antirheumatic products,<br />

non-steroids.<br />

G02A OXYTOCICS<br />

Plain preparations of oxytocin <strong>and</strong> analogues are classified in H01B -<br />

Posterior pituitary lobe hormones.<br />

G02AB Ergot alkaloids<br />

This group comprises ergot alkaloids, e.g. methylergometrine, used <strong>for</strong><br />

stimulation of uterine contractions. Other ergot alkaloids are classified<br />

in C04A - Peripheral vasodilators, <strong>and</strong> in N02C - Anti-migraine<br />

preparations.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are based on use in delivery.<br />

G02AC Ergot alkaloids <strong>and</strong> oxytocin incl. analogues, in combination<br />

G02AD Prostagl<strong>and</strong>ins<br />

This group comprises prostagl<strong>and</strong>ins used in e.g. termination of<br />

pregnancy.<br />

The <strong>DDD</strong>s are based on use in termination of pregnancy.<br />

G02AX Other oxytocics<br />

This group comprises oxytocics, which cannot be classified in the<br />

preceding groups.
