D09A MEDICATED DRESSINGS<br />

This group comprises medicated dressings, ointment dressings etc.<br />

Liquid wound protectives are classified in D02AD - Liquid plasters.<br />

Local hemostatics, e.g. gauze, tampons etc. are classified in B02BC -<br />

Local hemostatics. Medicated dressings containing hyaluronic acid are<br />

classified in D03AX - Other cicatrizants.<br />

D09AA Medicated dressings with antiinfectives<br />

See also D03AX <strong>and</strong> D08AG. Products containing cadexomer iodine<br />

are classified in D03AX.<br />

D09AB Zinc b<strong>and</strong>ages<br />

Zinc b<strong>and</strong>ages with or without supplements are classified in this group.<br />

Dressings with scarlet red are classified in this group.<br />

This group comprises all topical preparations used specifically in the<br />

treatment of acne, incl. preparations with antibiotics, corticosteroids etc.<br />

D10AA Corticosteroids, combinations <strong>for</strong> treatment of acne<br />

Only combined corticosteroid preparations specifically used in the<br />

treatment of acne are classified in this group. Other dermatological<br />

corticosteroid preparations are classified in D07 - Corticosteroids,<br />

dermatological preparations.<br />
