He is anorthopedic surgeon specializing in hip, knee, ankleand shoulder arthroscopy, minimally invasive andcomputer-assisted joint replacements, and sportsmedicine. Todd, a real sports enthusiast, was theassistant orthopedic doc<strong>to</strong>r for the ColumbusCot<strong>to</strong>nmouths Southern Pr<strong>of</strong>essional HockeyTeam, the Columbus Catfish Pr<strong>of</strong>essional BaseballTeam and the Columbus Lions Pr<strong>of</strong>essional ArenaFootball Team He was assistant team doc<strong>to</strong>r forGeorgia Southwestern State University andColumbus State University, and served as theassistant orthopedic team doc<strong>to</strong>r for RutgersUniversity. Prior <strong>to</strong> relocating <strong>to</strong> Hazle<strong>to</strong>n, Toddworked for Crystal Run Healthcare in New York.He completed a general surgery internship atThe Ohio State University and an orthopedicsurgery residency at the University <strong>of</strong> <strong>Medicine</strong>and Dentistry <strong>of</strong> New Jersey in New Brunswick.He completed a fellowship in orthopedic sportsmedicine at The Hughs<strong>to</strong>n Clinic, Hughs<strong>to</strong>nOrthopedic Hospital, Columbus, Ga.Raymond H. Kim, Class <strong>of</strong> 2000, has beenselected along with Bryan D. Springer, Class <strong>of</strong>1999, as the two North American representativeorthopaedic surgeons for the John Insall TravellingFellowship. Four surgeons (two North Americanand two international) are chosen each year <strong>to</strong>participate in the fellowship. This involves travels<strong>to</strong> 12 renowned knee arthroplasty centers inNorth America <strong>to</strong> observe and learn techniquesin knee replacement, and participate in researchand teaching. He completed his residency inorthopaedic surgery at The Mayo Clinic.Enrique M. Sta Ana, Class <strong>of</strong> 2001, is performinggeneral, bariatric and minimally invasive surgeryin New<strong>to</strong>n, Mass. He did his general surgeryresidency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Centerin Bos<strong>to</strong>n, and a minimally invasive surgeryfellowship at the University <strong>of</strong> Massachusetts.He and his wife, Dr. Lucrecia Trahanino, willsoon be moving <strong>to</strong> Orlando, Fla., for Lucrecia’sfellowship plans.Amy M. Jean, Class <strong>of</strong> 2002, is completing herthird year <strong>of</strong> fellowship in pediatric endocrinologyat Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital <strong>of</strong> NewYork-Presbyterian in New York City. She plans<strong>to</strong> stay an additional year for patient-orientedclinical research. Amy is studying the metabolicchanges in morbidly obese adolescents undergoingbariatric surgery. She and her husband, Alan,have a new addition <strong>to</strong> their family. Aaron Peterwas born on Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 11, 2007. Andy and Amyare extremely proud and sleep-deprived newparents.David A. Denning II, Class <strong>of</strong> 2002, is ananesthesiologist at Allegheny General Hospitalin Pittsburgh, Pa. Krista L Denning, Class <strong>of</strong>2004, is doing a cy<strong>to</strong>pathology fellowship, alsoat Allegheny General. Their baby girl, ClaireElizabeth, was born on March 1, 2007. Clairejoins their son, David Tucker, who is now 4.Leela Vadrevu Raju, Class <strong>of</strong> 2003, has accepteda fellowship for one year at Baylor College <strong>of</strong><strong>Medicine</strong>. She will be learning more advancedtechniques in cataract surgery and cornealtransplantation, including DSEK, where only theendothelium <strong>of</strong> the cornea is replaced.B. Hunter Boshell, Class <strong>of</strong> 2003, is in his thirdyear <strong>of</strong> his radiology residency at University <strong>of</strong>Cincinnati. He has plans for an interventionalradiology fellowship beginning in July 2009.
