Benefactor Spring 2008Homecoming 2007A Lights! Camera! Action! ExperienceIn 2007 the School of Medicine celebrated another historic milestone when the Class of 1982celebrated its 25-year reunion during the “Lights! Camera! Action!” Alumni Homecomingweekend, the School’s 21st.Also celebrating reunions were the Classes of 1987 (20-year reunion), 1992 (15-year reunion),1997 (10-year reunion) and 2002 (5-year reunion).Homecoming events included a reunion class luncheon, CME sessions, and a special celebratorydinner for the Class of 1982 at the Guyan Country Club. The dinner was followed by a reception at thePullman Plaza Hotel with music by DJ Kevin Simpson. Tours of the MU Medical Center, the RobertC. Byrd Biotechnology Science Center, the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and the new ByrdClinical Center showcased the recent growth of the school.A tailgate party at “The Thunder Zone” prior to the MU vs. New Hampshire game provided anopportunity for everyone to kick back and relax.The Class of 1982 Celebrated its 25-year reunionDr. Donald L Chaffin, Jr. Dr. Joseph E.
