Its specialservices include using premium intraocularlenses for cataract surgery. These lensescorrect astigmatism and both distance andnear vision, and they can eliminate the needfor glasses after cataract surgery. The groupalso has the only Pentacam corneal scannerin southern West Virginia. The Pentacamuses a rotating camera <strong>to</strong> create a 3-D image<strong>of</strong> the cornea so that surgeons have the mostprecise details available when performingcataract or refractive surgery.Dr. Parveen Nagra, a fellowship-trainedcorneal specialist who was trained at WillsEye Hospital in Philadelphia, will be joiningthe staff in June. Her areas <strong>of</strong> focus willbe corneal transplants, external disease,cataract and refractive surgery.
