Wild
Child
Our children notice things. They notice that what we treasure most, we hang for all to see. Through out
our homes we hang the faithful Family Portrait over the mantel. We tediously mull over where to hang
our favorite Oil Painting. These things are important. So why do we hang Dr. Seuss, Twilight posters
or framed craft pieces in our children’s rooms? Why not let them know how “treasured” they are to us?
This is not done with 5x7 easel backs on their dresser!!! This is implied with small, simple easel back
frames. This is conveyed with big, beautiful images that sing with their laughter on that sweet but Fun
day they had their images made. Let Wild Sorbet help design the perfect grouping for your child’s room!
“Wishing to encourage clients toward larger wall portraits and collections, I transformed my living room
into a studio. Wild Sorbet frames add beautiful color and personality to the room while maintaining the
traditional style of my home. I love the final result! Filled with portraits of family and close friends, it’s still
livable space but now doubles as the perfect place for consultations and proofing. Clients see my 20x30’s,
and it helps them to invision this size in their own living space.” Shelley DeJager
Our New trims……….Victorian,
Roman and Cameo are beautiful,
vintage trims. These trims are made
from reclaimed wood, and crushed
pecan and almond shells. Because of
their detail, we are able to offer elegant
glazes and overlays in these trim styles.
These make unique trimlings and when
added as trim to a frame, truly bring
out a “Twist on Traditional.” These can
be added to any frame at a nominal
up-charge.
Wild Sorbet Color Collections
Color is our business. We began with 24 basic colors and have now grown to 152. Not to mention our patterns and textures. We love color and
are not afraid to use it. But whether you are a person who loves neutrals or one who looks straight into the rainbow for more options, we have
the perfect choice for you. Just look.
Our Washed Metallics and Delicious Darks are perfect for the most formal rooms. Coupled with Bungalow trim, these colors create a beautifully
elegant frame. Then there’s our yummy pastels for those precious newborns and bountiful brights to cater to toddlers as they explore their
personalities through color.
Our corner samples are sold in collections to make it easy for you. We also offer trim packets. These are our trims, cut into 8” sticks, and painted
in each of our colors. We highly recommend beginning with the trim packets. They are convenient color samples and once you have our frames
on your walls…..your clients will understand the style and all you need is a color sample. No need for corners in every color and lots of lost studio
space! Just get a 10” flower pot or galvanized bucket, throw a ribbon around it and “ta-da” you’ve got a display. Questions…..just ask!
For 2 years now some of the industry’s top photographers have had color collections with us.
These “Designer Colors” are unique colors that speak volumes of their style and personality.
SPA (Senior Portrait Artists), Vicki Taufer, Beverly Walden and Sarah Petty have all had
tremendous influence in the colors and designs we offer and we are so grateful.
They are the best in their industry for a reason!!!
Our Trims.......What makes us different!
In September 2010 we introduced 3 beautiful new trims to our collection.Cameo, Roman and Victorian are milled in North Mississippi and
are exact replicas of architectural trims found in Antebellum homes throughout the South. They are made from reclaimed wood and crushed
pecan and almond shells making for a beautiful, trim with character and detail. We, of course, continue to offer our original trims and we
love them just as much!
A service for ALL photographers. Designed to help
increase sales, this unique service gives affordable,
quick access to talented designers every day!
After 6 years of talking with photographers day
after day, we realized we were hearing the same
concerns. Visualization for your clients is a MUST.
Design Cottage makes this oh, so simple !
3 Easy steps to Giving your Client EXACTLY what they want!
1. Before your session try using our “Design
Consultation” at your pre-consultation. This
is available to all our customers and is on
our website under the “Tools” tab. This will
help assist you in giving your client exactly
what they are expecting. Encouraging your
clients to have beautiful wall collections of
your art in their home.
www.wildsorbet.com
2. After your “perfect” session, simply
e-mail us up to 15 images and all the great
info you learned about your client’s home
from the Design Consultation. You can also
e-mail us that photo of your client’s space
in their home (you know, the one they sent
you because you asked!) When you know
WHERE your client is looking to place these
images in their home it makes it much easier
for them to visualize a grouping in that
space.
3. Using the software, Pree Vu, we will place
your images in frames and arrange them
proportionally on your client’s wall or simply
use one of our default walls. We give up to 2
different wall collection designs and e-mail
them back to you within 72 hours (business
days). These files can be projected to show
your client, uploaded to facebook or put on
your blog! The charge is minimal and VERY
worth it. Start selling wall collections and
groupings with every client! We want to do
your homework for you!
Wild Sorbet is a proud supporter of Pree VU software. With it’s amazing Stand-Alone
platform, it can be installed on multiple computers and is MAC and PC compatible. We are
just one of several vendors available. IT is the EXCLUSIVE software used by Design Cottage,
and we highly recommend it to any photographer who is serious about completeing their
studio. For more information call 888-676-4366 or visit www.preevu.com.
www.wildsorbet.com
Wild Sorbet began in a 2-car garage in Florence, Alabama by an occupational health nurse wanting
“something different” for her nursery. After creating the frame she had envisioned, she set out to introduce
a unique product to a very targeted market. Deciding to sell only to Professional Photographers and
Interior Designers, Wild Sorbet began with high expectations.
Wild Sorbet started with 24 basic colors. Within 1 year they were up to 36. Then, with the addition of their
Designer Colors by such well-known photographers in the industry as Vicki Taufer, Beverly Walden and
Sarah Petty, they were soon up to 152! They have now added new styles and designs and are constantly
challenging themselves to WOW their customers with their creativity.
Wild Sorbet is determined to change the expectations of a frame company. The company offers design
consultations every day for photographers’ images and their studio displays. Customer Service at Wild
Sorbet has set this company apart.
These custom, hand-crafted frames are never mass produced. Each frame is a true original. The wide array
of colors enables the client to create a style that will perfectly compliment any interior space. Wild Sorbet
takes pride in the uniqueness of their frames and encourages their clients to “Go Wild”.
