Conference Rooms2,600 sq metres of infinitely adaptablespaceWe believe it’s crucial to the success of yourevent that we adapt to your exact needs; wehave designed our conferencing facilities withtotal flexibility in mind.Reception areas, auditoria, meeting rooms,breakout areas and syndicate rooms can becombined in layouts to suit the logistics ofyour event.• Many of our conference rooms areequipped with fixed data projectors andinteractive wipeboards.• Fixed or wireless internet access is availablein all conference areas.• Flipchart, OHP, TV and Video are availablein all meeting rooms.• Sound re-inforcement PA equipment isoffered where necessary.In addition, <strong>Homerton</strong> <strong>College</strong> offers hearingloops and good disabled access throughout.Conference rooms are located in twobuildings – the Ibberson Building and thepurpose built Mary Allan Building completedin 1997.The Ibberson rooms are available for all yearround conferencing, while the Mary Allanrooms are available for conference use inUniversity vacation time only.Good food adding a sense ofoccasionWhatever the nature of your event, food issure to play an important part, and we’reproud of our reputation for excellent food.Be it formal reception or lavish banquet, ourchefs offer you a range of contemporary ortraditional menus to relish and enjoy; add tothat an excellent selection of international finewines, champagne, real ales and spirits. Weare also happy to take on any specific diningor special dietary requirements you may have.Our Conference Team can help you balancenumbers, space and time carefully so thatyour catering works perfectly with yourcorporate event.Three dining halls, a large combination room(lounge) and two bars offer superb facilitiesfor gala dinners, summer balls, corporateevents, and party nights.• The Victorian Great Hall seats up to 270;this beautiful, gothic hall dates from 1890and is ideal for banqueting and largerthemed events (Halloween and Hogwartsbeing firm favourites!). The Hall is licencedfor music.• The Fellows Dining Room, seating up to 85,can be used for smaller events, privatedining or buffet meals. Drinks receptionsare often held here and in the Combinationroom prior to dining in the Great Hall.Both open out to the scenic, mature<strong>College</strong> gardens.• The Drawing Room, seating up to 40, isa perfect space for boardroom lunches andsmaller dining events.• Both the Cavendish Bar next to the GreatHall and the Buttery Bar are open in theevenings to complement conferencedining.


Our FacilitiesConference roomsThe Auditorium - capacity 300 (Mary Allan Building)The Auditorium provides seating for up to 300 delegates theatre style, but lends itself to a numberof layouts and styles. It has a sprung wooden floor with flexible seating facilities. A raised stage areaand wireless radio microphone systems are also available in the Auditorium.The Boulind Suite - capacity 40 -180 (Mary Allan Building)A superbly flexible suite that can be sub-divided by sound proofed screening. Configuration optionsare one large conference suite for up to 180 or exhibition and trade stand area, two mediumconference suites for up to 80 delegates theatre style, or four small conferences rooms for up to 40delegates theatre style.Lecture Theatre - capacity 140 (close to the Ibberson Building)The modern styled, tiered Lecture Theatre can accommodate up to 140 delegates. There is also aprojection room available for use.The Paston Brown - capacity 120 (Ibberson Building)An atmospheric, original first floor Arts and Crafts style <strong>College</strong> room that has been recentlyrefurbished to provide a contemporary conference facility. The room can accommodateup to 120 delegates theatre-style and has a raised platform for head table and speakers.Horobin Room - capacity 100 (Ibberson Building)Also located on the first floor, the Horobin Room is a newlybuilt room with a sloped ceiling, purposely designed toaccommodate up to 100 delegates in a theatre style.Large windows offer plenty of natural light.

This area has easyaccess to the on site car park and can be used for delegate registration, smaller exhibitions and toserve light refreshments. An Internet Café is also available during your corporate event.Leah Manning Room - capacity 65 (Ibberson Building)Another of our Arts and Crafts rooms, notable for its original furnishings, but now refurbished tocreate a large modern conference room.The room is set in a cabaret style to accommodate up to 65 people.Skillicorn & Bamford Rooms - capacity 20 – 40 (Ibberson Building)These two ground floor seminar rooms can be used individually or incorporated to provide a largespace for 40 delegates. Individually they can accommodate around 20 people and large dividingwalls create a soundproof environment.13 Syndicate Rooms - ranging from 20-50 (Mary Allan Building)When your delegates need to break into smaller discussion groups, we offer a wide range ofsyndicate rooms accommodating up to 50 delegates. These rooms are light, airy and well equippedwith audio visual resources.Computer Suite - 16 workstationsA contemporary style room offering 16 networked PCs, demonstration machine, surround sound,media projector, TV and DVD.
