Family of motor protection& control relaysTotally protect all induction motorsReduce motor downtimeSOLCON

MPC 2000Incorporationg similar motor protectionfeatures to the MPR 2000 and 45programmable protection functions, theMPC 2000 includes a highlysophisticated control system for alltypes of starting methods including softstarters and variable frequency drives. This unit, together with a high speedcommunication facility, has beenspecifically designed for integration intomotor management systems achievinghigh system reliability and efficiency.

MPR 2000The MPR 2000 monitors current, voltage and temperatureinputs to provide the most comprehensive motor protectionpackage available today. With 5 - 10 temperature sensors, the MPR 2000 monitors as many as 36 programmableprotection functions. It is ideal for high voltage motors, largelow voltage motors and applications where full protection andadvance warning is crucial such as in the process andchemical industries.

MPR 6Miniaturized to fit into a 1/27 size MCC drawer and incorporating20 programmable protection functions and one temperatureinput, the compact, cost-effective MPR 6 provides enhancedcurrent protection features, supervision and monitoring for allmotors.

TPR 6Mcnitoring 6 to 14 RTD / Termistor temperature inputsThe TPR-6 accurately creates a "Thermal Levels" of the heatincrease to protect the motor from abnormal heat in the windingsand or bearings. Self test procedure protects againstdisconnected sensor and operator faults.

HIUThe Hold-in Units were designed to ensure maximumcontinuation of operation in process sestems and industriaplants, despite disturbances in power supply. The most common disturbances are transient voltage dips andshort duratior voltaage outages.

MPR 6 Vertical120 96 144AC motors are generally veryrugged and reliable. However, whenmotors approach their rated limits, there is minimal margin whenabnormal conditions arise. To safelyrun a motor up to its limits, acomprehensive protection device isrequired. By accurately creating athermal operating model, suchdevices protect motors fromirregularities in the power supply, motor and cabling faults and fromoperator error. With years of extensive experiencein motor protection and motorstarting systems, SOLCON hasdeveloped a series of microprocessorbased relays that offer acomprehensive, highly reliablepackage for protection againstmalfunctions. Each of the threemodels in this series includes arange of advanced features suchas:True RMS measurements at a0.5mSec sampling rate.Early warning "Time-to-trip"indication.RS485 communication for fullcomputer control andsupervision.Technically sophisticated yet easyto operate, these relays are themost effective solution formaximally reducing downtime andincreasing motor mean-timebetween-failures(MTBF).
