SONOANATOMY BARCELONA VPRESENTATIONSuccessful education in MSUS requires adeep knowledge of anatomy. Althoughthere are many books on anatomy, directvisualization of anatomical structurescan improve the skills forultrasonographic scanning andunderstanding of images. In addition,improving our knowledge and ultrasoundscanning skills in interventional skills isimportant.This course is designed to give theparticipants the opportunity to examinethe neck and shoulder region usingcadaver specimens, patients and healthymodels.The course will also include hands-onadvanced interventional techniques inanatomic specimens.The participants will be able to practiseunder the guidance of expert MSUSsonographers and University professors ofanatomy.The course also comprises lectures aboutthe most important topics related to neckand shoulder region and advancesinterventional procedures.TEACHERS AND RESOURCESThe teachers are experienced MSUSsonographers of EULAR, professors ofMSUS from around the world andprofessors of anatomy from the University ofBarcelona (ratio: 30 prof / 60 participants).The resources available include 12sonographic machines, healthy models,patients and cadaver specimens.VENUE AND DATESDepartment of Dissection Rooms and BodyDonors - University of Barcelona, Spain.2 days programme, February 21 th andFebruary 22 th , 2013February 21 th 8:30 – 19:00.
