The contractor whose tender is accepted will be required to furnish security deposit for duefulfillment of his amounting to 10% (ten percent) of the total value of work actually done. Theearnest money shall be converted as part security, the balance S.D. will be deducted from eachprogressive bill.12. If any tender withdraw his tender before its acceptance or refusal from the date of opening oftender, without giving any satisfactory reasons, he shall be disqualified for submitting any tenderto the Deptt. for a minimum period of one year. The corresponding earnest money also be forfeited.13. Contractor shall be presumed to have inspected the site of works before submission of tender.14. Conditional tender will be nullified by the tender accepting authority.15. All corrections in the tender are to be signed and dated by contractors. Illegible, irregular,incomplete tenders are liable to rejection.16. The power of attorney which may be characterized as agency agreement will not be acceptedwithout specific order of the Govt.17. Intending tenderer must declare if there is any other firm or firms having common or identicalinterests with them.The intending Tenderer(s) may see tender documents and other relevant particulars (if any )during office hours in the office of the undersigned. Application (in duplicate) along with theproof of their credentials for satisfactory completion of similar nature and value of works as desirein proper form and valid certificate of up-to-date clearance of P.T., S.T. & VAT, failing which notender paper will be issued. Intending Tenderers shall apply and obtain tender papers in advanceto guard against any difficulties due to possible absence from the head quarters of the concernedofficer. Earnest Money to be deposited in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay order only from anyNationalized Bank and to be drawn in favour of the Chairman, Kandi Municipality and will beacceptable on condition that collection charge (Bank Charge) of draft if required are to be paid bysuccessful tenderer.
