This resultsin a much cleaner material than conventionalPVC compounds, and compares favorablyto alternate materials typically used for UPWpiping applications. This has been validatedwith extensive static and dynamic leach studiesduring exposure to 18.2 megohm ultra-purewater conducted by a reputable third party. Referto Table I and Table II for comparative evaluationof leachable contaminants obtained fromcommon UPW piping materials.ProcessingProcessing conditions for the converting thismaterial into pipe form are as critical as theselection of the material itself to ensure that thephysical properties of the finished product areoptimized. Great care is also taken duringthis process using proprietary techniques toaddress surface finish characteristics.
