Time after time, leading institutes bothin the Netherlands and abroad, confirm that theAcademy cushion is useful in the most severecases of recurring decubitus.Additionally, theVicair ® Academy cushion provides improvedstability, which in turn offers the user greatercomfort and freedom of movement. Finally, theunique design results in a cushion that is safe,easily maintained and lightweight. ModelsTwin 6 & 10An excellent basic cushion for general use.When used on a hard surface and for users withsevere body-asymmetry, we recommend theTwin 10. For use on a sling-seat, the Twin 6 can bean excellent alternative. Available in five standardsizes.The required Twin size is determined by thesize of the wheelchair.TwinPositioner Plus 6 & 10The design of the Positioner Plus provides extralateral stability, achieved by the incorporation ofside compartments.This means that the size ofthe Positioner Plus must be chosen according tothe user’s body size.The two side compartmentsrunning from front to back provide optimal thighsupport.The Positioner Plus 6 is recommendedfor use on a sling-seat, in case of a slight bodyasymmetryand/or for active users who can transferthemselves.Available in ten standard sizes.Positioner PlusAdjuster 6 & 10The Adjuster model offers the possibility to createan individual solution for users with severe functionaland/or anatomical body-asymmetry.The frontof the cushion consists of two compartments,which in case of foot propulsion can be adjustedin cell density.We recommend the Adjuster 6 asan excellent solution for hemiplegic clients.Available in ten standard sizes.AdjusterThe most important advantages• High-performance pressure distribution• Stable positioning• Ultra-low weight: on average less than 750 grams• Individually adjustable• Low maintenance• Safe and reliable in use• Clinically proven
