Use value knob 3 (2.5) or the ▲, ▼ buttons (3.2) to specify how the expressionpedal control value will be initialized.“EXP INIT” specifies whether the control data (pedal position) of the expressionpedal will be maintained when you switch programs.If this is “OFF,” the parameter selected as the expression target will immediatelychange to the current position of the pedal at the moment you switch programs.If this is “On,” and you switch programs, the newly-selected program will soundjust as it did when it was saved (i.e., the control data will be initialized).NOTE: The “EXP INIT” setting is not saved for individual programs; it applies to allof the programs.NOTE: Even if this is “OFF,” the target parameter will not change if the expressionpedal has not been operated even once since the power was turned on.9.
