Registered Scope:
The design and manufacture of torque tightening equipment and torque measuring equipment
to 100,000 Nm under the trade name Norbar or to customers specific requirements. Products
include manual torque wrenches with capacities up to 1500 Nm. Electronic and hydraulic
bench mounted torque wrench analysers with capacities up to 4000 Nm. Electronic transducer
systems capable of measuring torques up to 100,000 Nm. Hand operated and powered torque
multiplying systems, with torque output up to 100,000 Nm. Mechanical test beam sets for
calibrating torque measuring systems up to 5000 Nm. Torque related products to customer
special requirements are engineered to order within and above the capacities indicated
above. Services include the servicing, repair and also re-calibration of customers'
equipment. The above scope states the activities for which the firm operates a quality
system complying with the standards cited on the certificate. This certification ensures
the quality system requirements are met and maintained and shall not be taken to infer any
connotation with regard to the firms ability to conduct calibration to particular
accuracies.
