First as a Nativity parent, and then as a volunteer, for the past 20 years she has served the school in a variety of ways including chef, driver, mentor and member of the Board of Trustees. Currently, “Mama Smith” as she is lovingly called by the boys, prepares a nutritious and delicious dinner for all of the students every Monday night. Rooted in her strong commitment to helping enhance the literacy of our community, Tink has been dedicated to maintaining and continually improving the school library. Over the last 14 years, Tink has also served Nativity in other capacities, including: cooking dinner, tutoring in the evening study program, assisting with secondary school placement, and teaching reading, spelling and vocabulary.
