This course will explore the elements,temperaments, and seasons through drawing and painting. <strong>The</strong> student will keep a journal<strong>of</strong> observations <strong>of</strong> his or her own art throughout the exercises. <strong>The</strong> final project will be a selfportraitusing one’s own artistic signature which was observed through the exercises. Timeallowing, the student will do a second portrait incorporating the opposite artistic style.Course fee (per week): $175 through June 15; $200 after June 15Sculpturewith Patricia DicksonUncovering the sacred proportions <strong>of</strong> the human face and forming the head from infancy tomaturity. Critical thinkingfrom a systemic viewpoint. Exploration <strong>of</strong> the Archetype <strong>of</strong> Reasoning. From each distinctsubject area, we will ask how we can all be teaching critical thinking skills so that students canexperience reasoned judgment in each class. All <strong>of</strong> us are teaching students how to figure thingsout.
