This course will explore the elements,temperaments, and seasons through drawing and painting. The student will keep a journalof observations of his or her own art throughout the exercises. The final project will be a selfportraitusing one’s own artistic signature which was observed through the exercises. Critical thinkingfrom a systemic viewpoint. Exploration of the Archetype of Reasoning. From each distinctsubject area, we will ask how we can all be teaching critical thinking skills so that students canexperience reasoned judgment in each class. All of us are teaching students how to figure thingsout. What they learn in art directly reinforces what they learn in science, history, math, orgames.
