The new Rapid systemcomprised of 5 furrow plough + furrow splitter powerharrow (quick pass), new heavy rill, Rapid drill 300 (3m)and roll with a total cost of £ 91/ha and time of203 min/ha.Overall the changes have worked well giving a cost savingof about £ 12 per hectare and a considerable timesaving of approximately 25%.
