DIRECTV Mobile Receiver/Controller User’s Guide9-2 Turning DewShield On/OffTracVision R6 Systems OnlyThe DewShield electronic dew elimination system(patent pending) keeps the antenna dome clear of dew,ensuring optimum reception of satellite TV signals(moisture weakens satellite signals).Unless conserving vehicle power is a critical concern,you should leave DewShield set to AUTO. Follow thesteps below if you need to change the current setting.1. Using your primary receiver, press the MENUbutton to access the main menu.2. Highlight the System Setup tab and pressSELECT.3. Highlight the Antenna tab.4. Highlight the Modify Settings button and pressSELECT.5. If you want to enable DewShield, highlightDewShield Auto.
