System Wiring DiagramsSingle <strong>Mobile</strong> <strong>Receiver</strong>/<strong>Controller</strong>Audio/Video Connections• To connect the receiver/controller to the TV’svideo input, you can choose either of thefollowing options:Option 1 - RCA-type jackOption 2 - S-Video jack• To connect the receiver/controller to the TV’saudio input, you can choose either of thefollowing options:Option 1 - RCA-type jacksOption 2 - Digital audio jack• Standard audio/video cables with RCA-typeconnectors are included with the receiver/controller.Power• The receiver/controller requires a 10-16 volts DC(VDC) power input supporting 60 watts.• If vehicle/vessel power fluctuates or is noisy,KVH recommends that you use an AC/DCpower supply to connect power to thereceiver/controller.RF Converter• The RF converter should be placed at least 3 feetaway from the receiver/controller. If it is too closeto the receiver/controller, the remote controlmight not operate properly.• Avoid placing the RF converter behind a metalsurface or in an area surrounded by metal.• If the TV has only a coaxial input, you will needto use an RF modulator to convert the RCA-typeinput to a coaxial output.
