TECHNICAL INFORMATION<br />
60 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE<br />
Laminex ® Fusion ® surfaces combine the latest advances in digital printing and graphic<br />
design with proven high-pressure laminate manufacturing technology. The Laminex Group<br />
has been creating these kinds of surfaces for over 60 years, and is a leader in the use of<br />
emerging technologies to produce exciting new products.<br />
CREATING A FUSION SURFACE<br />
Laminex Fusion surfaces are high pressure laminates. This means they are composed of<br />
layers of phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper that is surfaced by a layer of four-colour<br />
process digitally imaged paper, with a translucent melamine overlay. These are assembled<br />
and consolidated at approximately 1000psi pressure at temperatures exceeding 135ºC,<br />
creating an extremely durable laminate.<br />
SHEET SIZES<br />
The standard sheet size available is 12’ x 4’ (3600mm x 1200mm).<br />
Sheet sizes and print areas are:<br />

3600mm x 1200mm 3595mm x 1195mm<br />
2400mm x 1200mm* 2395mm x 1195mm<br />
*Optional Wet Area Panelling Size.<br />
Please note that there is a 5mm white border surrounding the design.<br />

EXTERIOR USE<br />
Whilst the performance of Fusion surfaces is extremely good, it is not suitable for use<br />
externally. Fusion surfaces are only warranted for interior applications.
