The goal of AFITC is to bring together government leaders and keyfigures in the field of Information Technology (IT) and allow them to shareknowledge and learn how to best apply the latest, cutting-edge technology tokeep the Air Force the most advanced fighting force in the world. The conferenceshowcases how IT hardware, software and services are being used today and howthey will be used in the future to help the Air Force accomplish its Air, Space andCyberspace mission.IT Transformation: Conquering the Cloud, is the theme of AFITC 2011, and ITacquisition reform and how the DoDs new approach will improve support to thewarfighter with better performance at a reduced cost is the focus of theconference.
