我 们 的 社 区 Our CommunityBeijing Hub of Women’s NetworkLaunches “Empower Her” Project“ 点 亮 ” 计 划 扬 帆 起 航2011 年 9 月 ,GE 职 业 女 性 协 会 北 京 分 会 在 分 会 领 导 杨 丹 女 士 为 了 让 孩 子 们 感 受 到 通 过 劳 动 技 能 为 他 人 提 供 服 务 所 获 得 的 成的 倡 议 和 资 助 下 , 创 立 了 公 益 项 目 “ 点 亮 ” 计 划 。 该 计 划 旨 在 就 感 ,11 月 29 日 ,GE 姐 姐 们 邀 请 美 容 美 发 专 业 的 老 师 和 同 学帮 助 普 通 中 学 女 学 生 在 青 少 年 成 长 阶 段 增 强 自 尊 、 自 信 和 责 任 来 到 了 GE 办 公 室 , 为 大 家 进 行 了 化 妆 指 导 。 王 老 师 边 示 范 边感 , 点 亮 她 们 心 中 的 理 想 , 创 造 美 好 人 生 。热 心 地 回 答 问 题 , 她 现 场 传 授 的 实 用 的 手 法 、 简 便 的 技 巧 和 各种 小 窍 门 大 大 弥 补 了 GE 女 同 胞 们 对 美 容 知 识 的 匮 乏 。 来 自 劲计 划 启 动 仪 式 上 , 来 自 GE 不 同 业 务 集 团 的 十 多 名 女 志 愿 者 和 松 职 高 美 容 美 发 专 业 的 女 孩 们 尽 管 只 学 了 半 学 期 的 美 容 知 识 ,来 自 劲 松 职 业 高 中 不 同 专 业 的 30 名 女 同 学 欢 聚 一 堂 。 志 愿 者 们 但 她 们 大 胆 的 尝 试 和 精 心 的 描 绘 , 让 几 位 平 时 很 少 化 妆 的 姐 姐认 真 地 聆 听 了 同 学 们 的 心 事 和 对 未 来 工 作 和 生 活 的 期 待 , 并 真 惊 觉 自 己 的 美 。诚 地 分 享 了 自 己 的 成 长 故 事 , 为 孩 子 们 答 疑 解 惑 。 活 动 结 束 后 ,专 为 “ 点 亮 ” 计 划 开 设 的 “GE 姐 姐 ” 邮 箱 收 到 了 不 少 孩 子 们 的 12 月 20 日 , 主 题 为 “ 点 亮 的 青 春 ” 的 文 艺 晚 会 在 劲 松 职 业 高邮 件 , 分 享 了 她 们 参 加 这 次 活 动 的 感 受 , 表 达 了 对 GE 姐 姐 们 中 礼 堂 召 开 。 晚 会 上 , 同 学 们 各 显 身 手 , 宾 馆 服 务 专 业 的 同 学的 感 谢 。布 置 了 漂 亮 的 会 场 , 西 餐 专 业 的 同 学 精 心 制 作 了 点 心 。 朗 诵 、Cosplay、 印 度 舞 等 精 彩 的 节 目 更 是 不 容 错 过 。 当 天 的 亮 点 属 于自 成 立 后 ,“ 点 亮 ” 计 划 的 活 动 从 未 间 断 。 秋 高 气 爽 的 10 月 , 几 个 从 小 有 舞 蹈 梦 却 从 未 跳 过 舞 的 女 孩 子 。 她 们 在 GE 徐 姐 姐GE 姐 姐 和 劲 松 职 高 的 孩 子 们 在 奥 林 匹 克 森 林 公 园 一 起 健 走 、 做 的 带 领 下 , 第 一 次 穿 上 漂 亮 的 新 疆 服 , 在 欢 快 的 音 乐 中 , 勇 敢游 戏 , 跟 孩 子 们 探 讨 了 他 们 最 感 兴 趣 的 话 题 —— 交 朋 友 。GE 姐 地 站 上 舞 台 , 用 舞 蹈 诠 释 着 世 界 的 美 好 。姐 们 通 过 分 享 自 己 梦 想 成 真 的 故 事 鼓 励 孩 子 们 要 敢 于 将 梦 想 付诸 于 行 动 , 努 力 朝 着 自 己 的 目 标 奋 进 。 在 GE 姐 姐 们 的 循 循 善 截 至 2011 年 12 月 , 共 有 约 40 名 GE 员 工 参 加 了 “ 点 亮 计 划 ”诱 下 , 一 些 平 时 内 向 、 不 善 言 辞 的 孩 子 也 渐 渐 敞 开 了 心 扉 , 孩 志 愿 者 队 伍 。 他 们 在 传 递 关 爱 的 同 时 也 收 获 了 内 心 的 富 足 , 在子 们 畅 想 了 自 己 的 未 来 , 为 自 己 设 定 了 短 期 和 长 期 的 目 标 。 而 贡 献 爱 和 包 容 中 赋 予 他 人 力 量 并 收 获 幸 福 , 并 将 由 此 产 生 的 激在 10 月 21 日 ,GE 邀 请 天 力 咨 询 公 司 的 青 少 年 专 家 给 劲 松 职 高 情 与 活 力 带 回 到 工 作 与 生 活 中 。“ 点 亮 计 划 ” 活 动 会 一 直 继 续的 30 多 名 家 长 开 展 了 一 堂 家 庭 教 育 讲 座 , 就 如 何 爱 孩 子 和 如 何 下 去 , 帮 助 孩 子 们 用 更 大 的 勇 气 , 更 强 的 信 心 面 对 生 活 , 迎 接与 孩 子 沟 通 等 问 题 进 行 了 深 入 探 讨 。挑 战 。 我 们 期 待 你 的 加 入 !In September 2011, GE launched the “Empower” Her projectfounded by Yan Dan, leader of the Beijing hub of the GE Women’sNetwork. The project aims to help girls in senior high schoolfulfill their dreams through confidence building and self-esteemboosting activities.At the kick-off, more than ten GE volunteers from differentbusinesses gathered with 30 female students from BeijingJinsong Vocational School. GE volunteers listened to the students’stories about their work and life goals once they finish school.They then shared their own stories with the students to provideexamples of the challenges and opportunities that await themafter they graduate. After the activity, GE Sisters received manyappreciative emails from the students for attending the event.Activities have been held monthly since the project’s launch. InOctober, the GE Sisters and students went on a walk and playedgames. During the get-together, GE Sisters not only discussedinteresting topics on how to make friends, but also shared theirown life’s dreams and pursuits to encourage the female studentsto be fearless and follow their dreams. The volunteers were alsoable to encourage some shy and introverted girls to open up anddescribe their future plans and set some short-term and longtermgoals. On October 21, experts studying teen issues fromTianli Consulting Company were invited to give a family educationlecture for more than 30 parents of the school’s students. Theparents learned about effective ways to communicate with theirchildren and how to show their love.To allow the students to use the skills they learned in school, onNovember 29, the teacher and students majoring in hairdressingand esthetics were invited to GE’s Beijing office to give ademonstration of their profession. Ms. Wang answered questionsraised by GE’s female employees during the demo. The easy anduseful tips allowed every GE woman to pick up new tidbits ofinformation. While still learning about the beauty profession, thestudents transformed many of the GE female employees whorarely use makeup into even more elegant and beautiful women.On December 20, a “Bright Future” party was held in the assemblyhall of the Jinsong Vocational School for the entire student body.Students majoring in hotel service and management arrangedthe venue, while students studying Western food prepareddesserts. The party really got started with a poetry reading, acosplay show, and a special Indian dance. With Miss Xu from GEleading the performance, they wore beautiful Xinjiang costumesand bravely took to the stage to entertain the audience.As of December 2011, 40 GE employees have attended activitiessponsored by the “Empower” Her project. Working with thesestudents, the volunteers themselves experienced deep personalsatisfaction and happiness. More importantly, they were ableto bring the positive vibes they gained from the project back towork. The Empower Her project will hold more activities to helpstudents face life courageously and address the challenges theymeet ahead with more confidence.
