AARP Safe Driving Class<br />

ron Hampton, an AARP volunteer instructor and SCAL resident, will<br />

conduct the AARP Safe Driving Class for seniors over 50, Saturday,<br />

March 17, 9 a.m. -1 p.m. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14<br />

for non-members.<br />

The fee must be paid by check, payable to AARP, at the start<br />

of the class. Write your AARP membership number on your check<br />

to get the $12 rate.<br />

The class is approved by the State of Nevada DMV. You will receive<br />

a certificate valid for three years and an insurance discount (the<br />

amount determined by your insurance company). Bring a pen or<br />

pencil and the name and number of an emergency contact.<br />

for an informative presentation on the activities and benefits of<br />

H2U. H2U stands for “Health To You.” The program was established<br />

25 years ago to empower adults to manage their health and live life<br />

to the fullest through member programs at three local hospitals,<br />

<strong>Sun</strong>rise, MountainView and Southern Hills. The three local H2U<br />

chapters are dedicated to promoting good health, healthy lifestyles<br />

and well-being among their members. They do this through a<br />

wide variety of educational programs, community resources, social<br />
